The North Mississippi Regional Laboratory, established in 1977, is located at 22000 HWY 35 North in Batesville, MS, and provides forensic assistance to north Mississippi law enforcement agencies. In addition to being an evidence delivery hub for the Main Laboratory in Jackson, this facility is accredited by the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors/Laboratory Accreditation Board in the following forensic service areas:
