The 2011 JAG LOCAL LAW SOLICITATION & APPLICATION are now available online. The purpose of this funding is to provide units of general purpose local government with the funds to underwrite projects to assist local law enforcement with the most pressing needs of the agency. These funds can be used for a wide variety of purposes including equipment, uniforms, supplies, automobiles, etc. Funding is based on the amount of state allocation available for this funding category.
The Division of Public Safety Planning has limited funds available to support area law enforcement agencies from the U. S. Department of Justice (DOJ). All applicants must complete and return the application no later than Friday, August 31, 2012.
