The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is assisting the Attala County Sheriff’s Department with efforts to find an Auburn, Alabama man whose been missing since September 25th. Twenty-year-old Nicholas Jones is described as a white male, 6 feet, two inches tall, weighing 200 pounds with hazel eyes and brown hair. He was last seen in Attala County wearing khaki pants, a white t-shirt and white tennis shoes. Jones lives in the 300 block of Brookwood Drive in Auburn, Alabama.
Jones was last seen walking west on MS14 about 10:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 25th. Area residents notified Sheriff’s Deputies of the location of Jones’ silver 1999 Chevrolet Blazer on Attala County Road 5201 three days later.
During the course of the investigation, it has been determined that Jones may be using the alias of Jobe Williams. If anyone has information regarding the whereabouts of Nicholas Jones, please contact the Attala County Sheriff’s Department at 662-289-3476.
